Bidford operates 2 excellent tugs, a 180hp Super Cub and a 235hp Pawnee.  Both are in tip top condition; the Pawnee had a new engine fitted in 2003. We have a full-time midweek tuggy, and operate a members' rota for weekends with a morning and afternoon slot for the Cub and a Peak 11-3pm slot for the Pawnee.

Tug Master is David Findon, who sets the procedures and standards for the towing operation. David's deputy is Graham Wright who also doubles as Safety Officer. 

We do have slots for new tug-pilots, minimum requirements are 100 hours flying experience with 25 hours tail-dragger.  If you are a glider pilot too that is very much in your favour.
