Our neighbours are used to fairly precise aircraft positioning due to our towing operations.

  Please help keep their lives quiet (and ours) by considerate flying.

    The detailed diagrams below show our preferred entry and exit routes

    However, avoiding any villages below 1,500ft and following these instructions will work well.

Runway 24 in use

Arrival: turn final no more than 1 mile from the airfield

Departure: When safely airborne execute a right hand turn to track 270T from the threshold of runway 06 until the farmhouse complex on the extended centreline is at your 8 o'clock position. At this point you may turn south or continue on track to 1500ft.

Runway 06 in use

Arrival: Bidford local powered traffic will be following the reverse of the 24 departure i.e. with final approach offset 30 degrees to the North to pass between the village and the aforementioned farmhouse complex.  Follow this procedure as far as you and your aircraft are able, however remember safety has precedence.

Departure: When safely airborne and before 1 mile from the airfield execute a left or right 90 degree turn and climb to 1,500ft.
