Full gliding membership of the club is £386 for the year 1st April 2008 – 31st March 2009. (In following years, reduced rates are offered with prompt renewal.) This is pro-rata so if you join part way through the membership year, the rate is reduced accordingly. This includes your subscription to the British Gliding Association. We are now also offering the option of paying monthly by Standing Order. Currently this amounts to £33 per month, please ask for details.
As well as membership, you need to pay for your flying. There are no tuition fees so you just pay for the height of the tow that you take and the minutes that you spend flying the glider.

For example, a typical tow to 2000ft and flight in a Puchacz with an instructor for 55 minutes would cost: £27.00 + (55 x 40p) = £49.00
Some theoretical knowledge is also required, and 'ground school' lectures/talks are free of charge.
